We've moved again

Perkins was lovely, especially the very nice staff, but we had a tendency to spend too much money on food and too little time on knitting. We decided to switch to our original haunt, the Starbucks in Tamarack Village, right next to Sushi Tango and Jamba Juice. They close at nine, but we've been bugging out right around then anyway. Also, they remodeled a bit and added several areas with comfy chairs, not just the one by the fireplace, so it's unlikely we'll feel the need to passive-aggressively evict people from the one good place to sit, which was our reason for leaving there in the first place.

We have a new home!

The manager at Perkins said that us meeting there will not only be completely okay, but she will put us on the schedule and reserve space for us in the section they hardly ever use on weekday evenings so that we can have some quiet. How awesome is that? So we're expected at 6 pm Thursday at the Perkins on Valley Creek near 494. The reservation is under my name. Yay!

All I have to say is: If Knitting was exercise you could bounce an quarter off my ass!!!!!

Probably not coming tomorrow

My mom is coming for the weekend (Chris's 3rd birthday) and is landing Thursday evening at 5:30, so I probably won't be at knitting, though I might sneak out after Claire goes to bed. Have a good weekend and I'll see you all next week!

Just a reminder that the Yarn Shop Hop is coming up next week, 4/12-15, and 3 Kittens will be in the thick of the activities and I'm working that weekend (both days).  I hope I get to see some familiar faces that day.
